This fun and interesting workshop for homeowners offers an introduction to the basics of good landscaping. Whether you are creating a new garden or planning a garden renovation, we'll guide to help you make the most of your garden.
Discover how walkways, patio areas, water features, rockeries and other design elements can be combined to create a functional and pleasing landscape.
This workshop will take place at our home in the village of Kenmore. Our large garden gives a living example of shape, form, style, and creativity. The indoor personalized garden assessment and outdoor practical hands-on guide will help you plan your garden with imagination.
WORKSHOP OUTLINE
Garden Elements 10:00- 11:00
Connect your gardening ideas by viewing some of the many garden elements on site. Sunken pea stone garden, natural stone paths, ornamental structures, porch/hot tub, sculpture, furniture, containers etc. We will also talk about the importance of soil, mulch and planting.
Incorporating water into the garden 11:00- 12:00
Come and see the many uses of water in the garden.
Gourmet Lunch - 12:00 - 1:00
Personal garden assessment 1:00- 3:00
Share your landscape problems and learn about possible solutions. Bring photographs & scaled outline of your property on graph paper for a personal landscape assessment.

Cost
$175.00 (+gst) per person. Workshop includes lunch, refreshment breaks, & information folder. These workshops are catered only to 4 people at one time.
