Does the thought of working in your garden overwhelm you? Where to begin - What to do?
This fun and interesting workshop for homeowners offers an introduction to the basics of good landscaping. Discover how walkways, patio areas, water features, rockeries and other design elements can be combined to create a functional and pleasing landscape.
This workshop will take place at our home in the village of Kenmore. Our large garden gives a living example of shape, form, style, and creativity.
WORKSHOP OUTLINE
Minimum 10 people per workshop
Garden Elements 10:00- 12:00
Connect your gardening ideas by viewing some of the many garden elements on site. Sunken pea stone garden, natural stone paths, ornamental structures, porch/hot tub, sculpture, furniture, containers etc. We will also talk about the importance of soil, mulch and planting.
Gourmet Buffet Lunch - 12:00 - 1:00
Guest Speaker 1:00- 3:00
Location: 3256 Yorks Corners Road, Kenmore 20 minutes south of Ottawa
Cost: $100.00 pp. (incl. hst) Workshop includes lunch, refreshment breaks & information folder 10 people minimum per workshop.
